Can you identify this woman? Updated appeal following serious assault in Salisbury

Detectives investigating a serious assault that happened in Salisbury earlier this year have released a photograph of a potential witness they need to identify.

The incident happened outside the Cathedral Hotel, on Milford Street, at around 2.15am on 20th February 2022, when a man in his 20s was assaulted while walking home from a night out.

He sustained facial injuries which required treatment.

A police spokesperson said, “Last month (9th May 2022) we issued a CCTV image and subsequently identified a man we needed to speak to. Our enquiries are ongoing.

“However, we are now in a position to release the attached image of a woman who was in the area at the time, in the company of a man who may be her friend or partner and may have key information which could assist our enquiries.
